Solana price prediction as network issues escalate

Image
Solana (SOL) continues to stand out as one of the top performers in the current crypto bull run, showcasing its strength and outpacing the broader market despite short-term correction.  However, amidst Solana’s impressive growth, the network faces ongoing challenges with network outages. Over the past two days, the Solana blockchain has encountered significant issues and congestion problems that have long been synonymous with the network .  The congestion issues can largely be attributed to the increasing number of users and their on-chain activity, particularly with the rise of meme coins and transactions on decentralized exchanges (DEXes).  Picks for you We asked Claude Opus AI to make a $100 crypto portfolio 1 hour ago 3 cryptocurrencies to watch for the week 3 hours ago Dormant Bitcoin whale activates after 10 years with $100 million 4 hours ago Ethereum at 3-year low vs. Bitcoin; Is the flippening over? 22 hours ago While heightened net

Masa partners with Avalanche to launch its zk-data network

Masa announced the launch of its zk-Data Network & Marketplace on Monday. The Avalanche subnet will be powered by AvaCloud. Masa has secured strategic investment from Avalanche’s Blizzard Fund. Masa, a platform building a zero knowledge data network , has announced the launch of its zk-data network and marketplace.   According to a news release published Monday, Masa will launch the gasless Avalanche subnet in the first quarter of 2024, bringing a customizable blockchain network for personal data to the public. The subnet will be powered by AvaCloud, a managed blockchain service that allows users to deploy scalable decentralized network s.  Masa Partners with @Avax to launch ZK-Data Network Empowering people to take back control of their data. Thanks to @AvaCloud, we're launching a custom #Avalanche Subnet 🔺 Masa also receives a strategic investment from @BlizzardFund ❄️https://t.co/bs6iz6s69F — Masa (@getmasafi) December 18, 2023 Masa

Bitcoin NFT marketplace Bioniq eyes lofty goal of alleviating network congestion

Bioniq operates on the Internet Computer Protocol, tapping into native Bitcoin integration to ease the network congestion and high fees associated with Ordinals inscriptions. A new Bitcoin nonfungible token (NFT) market place aims to reduce network fees associated with the advent of Bitcoin Ordinals inscriptions by tapping into the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP). Developed off the back of the creation of Bitcoin Ordinals in early 2023, Bioniq operates on the ICP and taps into its native Bitcoin integration to power the trade of Bitcoin-based Ordinals inscriptions. Speaking to Cointelegraph on the eve of the platform’s launch, Bioniq CEO and co-founder Bob Bodily said the project has been in development since February 2023. The team has built a market place featuring Ordinals smart contracts auctions on the ICP, a complete cross-chain wallet between Bitcoin and the ICP, as well as an inscription tool. “It had only been two weeks after Casey Rodarmor released Ord 0.4.0, and I knew

Ethereum L2 Starknet aims to decentralize core components of its scaling network

Starknet has laid out its road map to begin decentralizing core components of its Ethereum layer 2 scaling network to defend against censorship and improve robustness. Ethereum layer 2 scaling network Starknet has outlined plans to improve the de central ization of three core components of its zero-knowledge proof rollup solution (ZK-rollup). Speaking exclusively to Cointelegraph, Starknet product manager and blockchain researcher Ilia Volokh outlined the firm's intent to address certain centralized elements of its protocol aimed at defending against censorship and making its system more robust. Starknet operates as a validity rollup using zero-knowledge proof technology to bundle transactions into rollups, with cryptographic proofs submitted to Ethereum to achieve security and finality for layer 2 transactions.  According to Volokh, Starknet’s protocol remains dependent on StarkWare for creating L2 blocks, computing proofs and initiating layer 1 state updates to the Ethereum
