Web3 DApp improves staking and transfers on Polkadot and DotSama

As the world moves to a multichain reality, user-friendly interfaces are becoming standard across all networks, not just Ethereum. The learning curve for blockchain and its related topics is steep. To this day, even those familiar with blockchain terminology need help to perform basic functions like storing, trading and transacting with crypto assets, in addition to using nonfungible tokens (NFTs) for any of their intended use cases beyond being a digital collectible. For this reason, the unfortunate reality is that despite networks like Ethereum being diverse in utility across payments, storing data and other decentralized finance (DeFi) use cases, mass adoption continues to meet challenges since few know how to interact with blockchain technology. A lack of adoption doesn’t mean blockchain and crypto aren’t the future. Instead, humans must recognize that a consumer-centric experience is needed to demonstrate the utility of a new technology like blockchain. Consider the parallel betw...

FTX Stolen Funds moved as $200M ETH split across 12 wallets

Image
The impact of FTX’s collapse was much bigger than expected. The hack that followed suit disrupted the market as well. While the details behind the hack remain uncertain, the stolen funds were being moved. Over the last couple of days, huge amounts of funds from the stolen $447 million were on the move. Further persisting this pattern, the hacker went on to move some more funds. As per recent data from Etherscan, within a period of 4:11 to 4:17 PM UTC a whopping 180,000 ETH was moved. The hacker split this across 12 wallets that were newly created. Each of these wallets received a total of 15,000 ETH. Source As seen in the above image, all the wallets entailed a total amount of $199.3 million together. This move certainly seemed to have confused the entire ecosystem. Several were speculating that the FTX hacker was trying to confuse the investigators that were overseeing the hack. A few others assumed that the hacker could be employing a mixing service sometime soon. J...
